Marine Logistics Limited is a UK-based company providing a complete procurement service to the marine industry.

Procurement

We have a truly global perspective to sourcing our customers’ requirements and have established a vast network of suppliers in almost every country involved in the marine industry. We have special agreements with many of these so we can offer our clients the cost savings of a truly worldwide sourcing operation with superb service. We have deliberately chosen to remain completely independent so we can supply anything our clients require, whoever or wherever the manufacturer is in the world.

Personal recommendations have meant that an increasing number of our customers are outside the marine industry. In particular, the ever-growing importance for oil and gas exploration and the development of techniques for alternative energy sources has seen a significant growth in the requirement for our procurement services in these industries.

We believe in personal service and each customer has a dedicated procurement adviser who uses our bespoke procurement system to search for the best price and delivery time to any enquiry.

Order Processing

We realise the importance of delivering goods to our clients on time and our internal systems have been designed with this objective in mind.

Orders are acknowledged immediately and are tracked continually until the goods are received in our warehouse facility. Here they are thoroughly checked before being re-packed ready for despatch. This means that any potential problems are resolved before orders are sent to our clients. This is all part of the service we offer.

All goods are packed suitably for export. Where necessary, hazardous packing can be arranged and we can provide any consular or shipping documents which might be required.

We then despatch to our clients using high quality courier services such as DHL, or major airlines, depending on the requirement. In any event, we always provide full details to our client so they are fully aware of the status of their order.

We believe that our impressively high rate of customer retention shows that our policy of truly worldwide procurement with outstanding service is a major benefit to their operations. We hope we have the opportunity to prove this to you.
